22 Dec 2023 CHRISTMAS MESSAGE
As we bid farewell to 2023, the holiday season brings a time of reflection and gratitude.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all who have shared their concerns and issues with me throughout the year.
While we may not have all the solutions, the diversity of voices that reach out is testament to our resilient community.
We remain steadfast in addressing the everyday challenges impacting regional Queensland but let us also take a moment to celebrate the victories that have come our way.
Personally, the anticipation of the CopperString 2032 project beginning in mid-2024 fills me with optimism for the transformative impact it will have on North West Queensland’s economy.
Furthermore, and more personally, the joy of welcoming our third child, Georgina, into our family alongside Peaches and Rosie, has been a cherished highlight of this busy year.
Despite the challenges, the unwavering resilience of the people of North and North West Queensland continuous to inspire me.
I am eager to continue leading Katter’s Australian Party and to serve and collaborate with the Traeger Electorate in the coming year.
As the holiday season unfolds, I wish each of you a Merry Christmas filled with warmth, joy, and a time spent with loved ones.
May the New Year bring renewed hope and opportunities for growth.
God bless you all, and I look forward to reconnecting in 2024.
